This is very close to being a solid dish. The onions were a bit overpowering, but they were also sparse, good job there.
The crostini is worthless. Soggy, didn’t taste good. Picked them off and didn’t eat them. If you’re going to include bread, do it right and light.
Horseradish aioli was very good, if a touch on the over-dressed side.
Added salt, which is common.
Great cut of meat, not stringy in any way and perfect thickness.
Weird green stuff. I really don’t know what it was. Maybe dressed parsley? That needs to be replaced with arugula and capers for sure.
Presentation: Very nice plating, good presentation.
Temperature: Just warm, perfect temperature.
Size: Appropriate, but I didn’t share.
Value: Decent, excellent quality
Overall Score: 7.5/10
Reasoning: Needs capers, lose the bread. Include some arugula and lemon juice. Dress the aioli consistently and more lightly.
